That 3/8' to picatinny won't hold up to recoil on the 22 it was designed for much less a shotgun. Also, most SA-08 models I am aware of aren't cut with dovetails. Only way to mount a red dot or scope is either drilling and tapping or a barrel with a cantilever mount. Trying to clamp a scope onto the shotgun rib will just rip the rib off.
